Vision
To foster a thriving Lawn Bowls community in Jharkhand, where individuals of all ages and backgrounds are inspired to embrace the sport, promoting inclusivity, health, and camaraderie. We envision a future where every citizen has access to quality facilities and training, enabling them to develop their skills and passion for Lawn Bowls.
Our commitment is to cultivate local talent, enhance participation, and elevate Jharkhand as a key hub for Lawn Bowls in India, creating champions on and off the green.
Bowls is a sport that is internationally recognised and inspires more people of all ages and abilities to participate.
Mission
The Jharkhand Bowling Association is dedicated to promoting and developing Lawn Bowls across the state by providing accessible training programs, fostering community engagement, and enhancing infrastructure. We aim to empower individuals through skill development, inclusive participation, and competitive opportunities, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age or background, can experience the joy of the sport.
By collaborating with local clubs, schools, and stakeholders, we strive to create a vibrant Lawn Bowls culture in Jharkhand, inspiring a new generation of players and champions.

- Review and update Strategic Plan, Constitution, policies, staffing structure and corporate documents.
- Collaborate with BFI, JOA & SPORTS DEPARTMENT, JHARKHAND to enable a national and unified voice and for the benefit of Jharkhand Players.
- Lead the Bowls in the BFI and bringing the sport in Olympics.
- Establish a system for smaller developing Districts across administration, marketing/comms, coaching, umpiring and development.
- Explore the creation of a World Bowls Premier League (WBPL) to showcase the sport on the world stage and grow commercial opportunities.
- Develop a Commercial Strategy to diversify and increase revenue streams.
- Develop a sponsorship, licensing and investment prospectus.
- Review all World Bowls Events including hosting fees paid by MNA’s and establish new hosting guidelines.
- Develop a new brand strategy and update our marketing and communications platforms (Logo, Website, social media, Streaming, merchandise etc.).
- Develop a shared resources platform (on the website) which includes successful case studies of success.
- Utilise technology to develop an offering publicity of excellence in the sport.
- Develop an annual Communications Plan with partners, Sports Department and key stakeholders.
- Prepare a diversity, equity and inclusion plan with a commitment to grow women’s and underrepresented groups participation in all areas of Lawn Bowls.
